Kepler Challenge

This year’s 37th annual 60km Mountain Run, described as the "jewel in NZ's mountain running calendar" and its sister event the 27km Luxmore Grunt mountain grind will be held on Saturday 7 December 2024.

On-line entries for the 2024 FreshChoice Kepler Challenge and Luxmore Grunt open at 6.30am (NZ time) on Saturday 6 July 2024.
In previous years entries to the Kepler Challenge have filled within four minutes, so be quick!

Te Anau Central Backpackers is currently hibernating and reservations are unavailable. However our sister properties Distinction Luxmore Hotel located in the Te Anau town centre & Distinction Te Anau Hotel & Villas located on the lakefront are open.
